I finally appear to be over this nasty cold that has been dragging me down for the last 12 days. This morning I went to the gym and worked out on the bags with my trainer Sean. Aside from being rather uncoordinated (which is the norm), it went well.
Sean has me working with the punching bag because he thinks it is a good way for me to work on my core strength and balance. He also believes it will increase my hip flexibility. We start off with a series of basic kicks then some basic punches. Fairly quickly he has me delivering combinations to the bag.
It’s a great workout and I enjoy it. I believe that my core strength is better and my strength and flexibility have improved. Tomorrow I’m going for a run
